BEHIND THE BRAND
Growing up in Arizona, my family made it a tradition to visit sunny San Diego for our summer vacations. From a young age, I fell in love with the aesthetics of the Golden State. Whether it was walking along the boardwalk in Pacific Beach or biking along Mission Bay, San Diego felt like a second home to me. In middle school, my friends started calling me 'kenziekat', a nickname that stuck and eventually became my AOL screen name and now my IG handle. It was during this time that I discovered two passions that have stayed with me: my love for fashion and kawaii (cute) character culture, particularly Hello Kitty. So, combining my nickname, affection for these cute characters, and love for fashion, I brought the KenzieKat Boutique to life!
